MCM Blogger Makeover - The Greek Edition!

UK, Germany, Korea and now: All eyes on our greek bloggers! This makeover is really special 'cause our favorite bloggers from the sunny state shot on the street of Greece and took photos blogger-like on their own!

“I envisioned this segment of the blogger makeover initiative to not only stand out amongst the other projects, but to give the holistic project a different flavour” remarked Zoe Drakouli, Communications Manager of Act & React (organising PR agency);  “while the other fabulous photo shoots featured MCM’s stylish products inside photography studios, I wanted this segment to feature more movement as well as showcase MCM as a lifestyle in association with one of Europe’s historic highlight destinations”

In a candid street-style photo shoot inspired by travel, glamour & modernism, MCM joined forces with four Athenian fash-pack extraordinaires: Elena Pakou from  Life full of Fashion, sisters Claire & Vasia from  Fashion has it, Pinelopi Kapnoula from Fashion Architec & lifestyle fashion blogger Posh Fashion News. 

Posh Fashion:  

Posh Fashion is a greek fashion personal blogging network, with relations to the biggest Greek Fashion Brands/ Companies, Designers and partnerships with global brands. It also covers every fashion, lifestyle and art event in Athens, and generally Greece, and has also created several fashion editorials and installation in Athens.  

Life full of Fashion: 

Elena Pakou has been an active blogger since 2008, when she launched her Personal Style and Fashion blog, “Life Full of Fashion”. She studied Media & Communications at Panteion University of Athens and has worked in various sectors of eBusiness like eCommerce and Social Media. Moreover, she has been fortunate enough to meet and interview some of the most interesting people like Alessandro Benetton and Monica Bellucci. She currently works as a style editor for Missbloom.gr, one of the most successful greek lifestyle portals and hopes that one day she’ll interview Karl Lagerfeld!

Fashion Architect:

Fashionarchitect.net is the first fashion blog in Greece with original content, reading in English. The creator, Pinelopi Kapnoula, had studied Architecture in University of Thessaly, is a heavy user of social media since 2009 and loves fashion! Based on her studies in Architecture and inspired from her passion in fashion, Pinelopi has started her blog few years ago.

Fashion has it:

Fashion has it.. started as an idea to share fashion tips and everyday style. It’s named after "rumor has it" aiming to make a ‘gossip’ around fashion. The creators are Claire and Vasia, sisters, students and fashion lovers. Claire is into styling and Vasia into fashion designing. Fashion has it.. was created about two years ago; Today Claire and Vasia wish to be inspiring for their readers and make their blog's content better and better every day.

The whole Makeover - Greek edition took place at the most popular locations in Greece and featured MCM’s SS12 Stark Backpack Collection with the blogger style-savants in iconic locations throughout Athens, such as Aeropageitou Street, just under the Acropolis, in the entrance of Ancient Herodion Theatre also situated under the Acropolis, and the Plaka historic & cultural area of Athens. Other shoot locations took place at Monastiraki, Thiselo & Stoa Attalou, which are additional iconic locales situated in the centre of Athens, likewise with the Acropolis view. 

This sneaky peaky of the Makeover betrays us: The greek bloggers have a very good taste and choose our MCM backpacks for her outfit styles!! We are quite excited to see the result of the streetstyle photo shoot and love to show you the pictures as well as the styles of the greek blogger crew and introduce each lady in it's best way as soon as possible.
