MCM x Craig Redman - The Shanghai Collection

I dare you not to fall madly in love with our exclusive Shanghai Collection, in collaboration with the super talented Craig Redman. Designed to celebrate MCM's entry in China and Shanghai, the line features an intertwined rope motif that recalls the port city of Shanghai and its ancient shipping tradition.

There are three different rope designs available - candy colours, red & white and a more masculine one using shades of grey. The collection counts 17 pieces in total, including three "man bags".

“Using Shanghai's history as an ancient port city as inspiration, I created a design taking basic elements from its history (in this case - shipping rope) for my new Shanghai Collection for MCM. Rope, in its essence, is smaller pieces of fibre braided together to create a single object of strength, something that symbolizes both the individual and a greater whole." Craig Redman.

The collection launches in China at the end of October and will be available worldwide from February.
