I have always been attracted to places with great views. When picking a flat to rent, the number of windows and the floor I live in have always been more important to me than the size of the place. Of course in a city like London where most of the buildings are low-rise, it is more difficult... So I have to let my mind drift away to far away cities.
Bangkok and its super-modernism may not appeal to everyone, but some of the city's skyscrapers rooftops host some super chic dining and drinking gems: Vertigo Grill & Moon Bar and Sirocco.
Vertigo is located on a former helipad on the top of the Banyan Tree Hotel and serves Western-Asian fusion food as well as an array of cocktails. Sirocco is the highest open-air restaurant in the world and is situated on top of the State Tower.
