Tonight is The Night!

Just like everyone, I am getting pretty excited about the Games starting this evening. Sure, they have caused their lot of transport meltdown and stress in the city, but seeing all nations from around the globe come together in my adoptive city is getting me all emotional.
As you may have gathered from my earlier post this week about Djibril Cisse's visit to our flagship store, I am no sports expert, but I do appreciate the global angle of the Games, the greatness coming to London this Summer. For us, it has been an amazing adventure, what with the launch of the B.I.G. backpack and of course the MCM Brand Experience and as I was leafing through magazines from China, Korea, Germany or the US, I was pleased to see MCM popping up here and there in a lot of sports-related stories.
Despite being a Parisian, I am a Londoner at heart now and I feel my little heart swelling with pride at living in this city, especially now that all eyes are on us. If you want me, I will be skipping along with a B.I.G. backpack!
