MCM “Made in Germany” Christmas Shopping Event

The past weekend, we hosted a Live Craftsmanship Exhibition at our Harrods boutique. I announced the event on this very blog and shared with you a little chat I had with our skilled artisans only a few days ago. However, I know a lot of you don't live in London and so I figured you may want to know what exactly happened in Harrods...
Our Harrods Boutique felt really festive at the weekend!
Watching our two MCM masters at work is really quite the experience. Here are MCM we pride ourselves in our strong handmade German heritage and so it was a real delight to be able to share the makings of our bags with our beloved customers and fans in London. You see, luxury is an art that resides in the details. A zip here, a stitch there, a way to assemble pieces of a leather puzzle. The choice of materials is key of course, but if put together in a different way they wouldn't provide the same product.

Our artisans from Apolda are famous for their craft and they gave everyone present a demonstration of skill, precision and patience. The result? A cognac visetos classic! Customers who made a purchase on the day or came with their favourite MCM bag left the event with a handmade tassel bag charm.
