Today I would like to go back in time and let you know a little bit more about our very special window display at Luisa Via Roma, designed by Felice Limosani. It was designed to celebrate our arrival at LVR and so we took over their legendary windows with this conceptual installation entitled e=MCM2,a metaphor that defines the unique force between the product and person of MCM. Have a look at the video of the installation below.
Following the F4E blogger extravaganza, we debuted our very first concept store on the first floor of Luisa Via Roma, for the Pitti Uomo 84 event where we displayed a selection of most avant-garde, punk-inspired luxury pieces of the season. To sum it all up, it was an absolute studded dream for MCM lovers, featuring some of our most sought after pieces and cult collections. I am looking at you, Stark!
The window display was there not only to celebrate our presence at F4E, but also to commemorate this exciting collaboration with the edgy Italian concept store. The windows are a real ode-to-style, dedicated to our 'Eyes on the Horizon' collection. If you haven't been to Florence, I can tell you the displays on the front of the store are truly out of this world amazing! And so big! Looking at Felice Limosani's installation was like diving head first into MCM land. The video stars our Limited Edition Craig & Karl collection graphics as seen through a stylised lens. Its title E=MCM2 is a tongue in cheek reference to the theory of relativity, in this case reinterpreted to define the unique force between the product and person of MCM.
