Booking a flight to a wonderful destination is absolutely thrilling. Especially if you know that no Blackberry could ring, no e-mail would pop-up and no business call disturbs you!
I was looking for a destination to find time to relax, think about life, read a good book and spend the day on an airbed at the beach. I decided to fly to Majorca, Spain this year: Just for a short trip, just to get new power, find inspiration and to take a deep breath:
And honestly, Majorca was absolutely the best destination to stop the daily routine for a while and enjoy the real summer: 34 degrees, turquoise water, lovely bays, light blue sky without any clouds and really delicious, typically mallorquin food like octopus, chicken with mallorquin sausages or baked potatoes with a lot of salt.
Little fishing villages, the most beautiful and mediterranean capital Palma, as well as long beaches or impressive cliffs along the island: MAJORCA is so wonderful and so different from all the cliches!
I spent one day in Palma and the rest of my vacation in the southeast of the island. At a village called Cala Llombards, close to Santanyi, of which somebody might have heard about!
I just wanted to pack as little as possible and decided just to take handluggage with me. So I had less space to put all my lovely bags inside my suitcase. Lucky me my mother gave me her so loved tambourine which was produced back in the days in the 90s. I really love the tambourine shape and I think it's pretty cool to where my mother's bag today. It comes in white and black and has this beautiful tassels at the side. I am really in love with it!
Small, flat and cute!
Here are some other tambourine suggestions I can't wait to get my hands on:
Which is your favoured destination this summer?
Sunny greatings! xx Sarah Jane
