As the editor of the MCM Blog, I am always busy telling you about the latest MCM news, going over posts and various other little important behind-the-scenes adventures, so I don't often post photos of my personal style... Which also means I don't get to document and share with you my insane love affair with all things MCM, specifically all things MCM that live in my little London flat!
I already showed you my seasonal picks which include two satchels from the delightful First Lady collection, but so far I only appeared on this blog carrying the Small Satchel. The truth is, there isn't a day when I am not carrying one or the other! Yesterday, I zipped over the Channel to Paris for the day to visit a well known fashion house's workshop. I was accompanied by three blogger friends who are also MCM friends: Susie Lau aka Style Bubble, Emily Johnston aka Fashion Foie Gras and Shini Park aka Park & Cube. It was a little like going on a school trip for the day, only way more fashionable.
For days like these, where there is quite a bit of travelling involved, but also a chic lunch and some work related meetings with industry people, it can be quite tricky to decide on an outfit. Comfortable and fashionable aren't necessarily two words that are often seen together. I went for a simple monochrome outfit with tailored black trousers, my favourite white shirt, my trusted biker jacket and a giant scarf and beanie to keep me warm. Of course, the focal point of the outfit was my First Lady Satchel. Doesn't she look stunning in metallic?
