The Janes' Fashion Week choice: MCM!

It's Fashion Week time here in Germany again. After a super cold Autumn/Winter 2012 presentation in January, this year we are looking forward to discover the Spring/Summer 2013 clothes from our young Berlin designers as well as established fashion houses from Germany.

Nike and I are well prepared for the next week - just one thing is missing: What to wear every day and how to dress for the different events? There will be several meetings and within the next days and each day, an occasional opportunity to change the outfits sometimes. Breakfast here, fashion show there and another party at another destination. One thing might be the most important one: Which bag is the right companion for the different matters and which outfit will be the best one for a fashionable and proper look? We took a closer look at our closet and will give you some suggestions to be dressed comfortable and at the same time outstanding! 

Breakfast meetings to take a closer look at the collections: The new thing: Having breakfast, taking a closer look at the collection and getting in touch with the different brands - for this event you should choose a simple outfit. Start the day comfortable and relaxed 'cause it'll be a long day. Sophisticated, strong but not over the top. The ideal partner: The Vintage Visetos Draw String Shopper! The Fashion Shows: There are so many other ladies and you'll always say: oh my God, I am totally underdressed. It's important for you to make sure that you are there for one reason: either you are just a guest and this is the only show you attend than dress up! Or you take a look at the collection 'cause it's part of your job and you'll see a lot more. In this case, try to look elegant but choose a comfortable outfit and don't forget a big bag: You have to keep your camera, your pad, pencils, maybe your iPhone to Twitter or to take pictures for Instag.am, your laptop to write your article afterwards and on and on and on. And again another job that sounds like so much fun again! Party time. And believe me, it's a combination of free time and your job. People from the PR agencies, brands and designers will be at the party as well and it's time for you to connect as much as you can - of course, the way you are but always professional and smart!
