One of the joys of Fashion Week is to be able to experiment with the new season’s outfits before their actual time in real life. You can play dress up without anyone batting an eyelid. I tend to dress for fashion week in a fairly similar manner I do everyday, only a little more polished.
Stockholm style is very laid-back and effortless, cool and always chic but nobody looks like they tried too hard so it isn’t necessarily a great place to try your loudest looks. However, a little dip of the toes in the baroque trend was more than welcome. I built this outfit taking my new orange First Lady Crocodile tote as a starting point. I wanted it to be an accent in my outfit but also to echo another statement piece. Sure enough, those burnt orange printed trousers were the perfect match. The rest of the outfit was kept fairly sober, in Fall colours.
I am so happy with this new First Lady tote because a bit like my Sophia it contains A LOT without ever compromising on style. During Fashion Week, at times my bag was heavier than my suitcase!! Imagine, I have to carry my iPad, phone, camera and spare lenses, notebooks, wallet, keys, a jumper, my make-up bag... And throughout the day stuff piles up on top of that. I am very thankful for my driver!
