I've just returned from a month long vacation abroad, treated myself to a well deserved break after working too hard the past few months! Decided to visit family and friends in Hong Kong and even had time for a short trip to Seoul where my younger brother Ken is currently based (actually, he's based in Gwangju). Ken is also a blogger, he's behind the popular travel, food and Korean lifestyle blog 'Seoul State of Mind'.
I'm delighted to share with you all some of my delectable postcards from around Seoul, and it wouldn't be right if I didn't bring my MCM backpack with me, please enjoy!
Team MCM siblings!
From the hills of Changgyeonggong overlooking Namsan Tower.
Gone all bohemian with an explosion of patterns carrying the Funky Zebra backpack.
Photowalk in the infamous Bukchon Hanok Village (Korean traditional village) in Samcheong-dong.
Like me, Ken is also a big fan of MCM! So being the nice big sister that I am, I gave him my Stark backpack as a present (see a similar style HERE). Ken travels around South Korea a lot on photography assignments. Carrying a stylish MCM backpack is a must have for all well-travelled photographers.
Food and veg truck, the only Korean words I recognised were banana and watermelon, goodness am I good?
Peek-a-boo! The golden Buddha in someone's back garden in Insadong.
Overview of Seoul at night from Namsan Tower.
Thanks for reading! I hope to visit Korea and capture winter in Busan and Jeju when I'm in Asia for Christmas and New Year.
With love, Kit aka www.styleslicker.com
