I just got back from a long weekend in Paris where I went to visit my friends and family before Christmas. Packing for Paris is the easiest thing to do for me as I already know what style I have when I am there. I suppose I don't have the same expectations as someone who goes to the City of Lights for the very first time. My Winter style is also fairly basic, which makes life much easier when it comes to packing: at the moment I mainly wear skinny jeans or ankle grazer trousers with crew neck jumpers and button-up shirts. I like the detail of the collar popping out of a rather austere jumper.
Since my Winter outfits are so simple, I like to use accessories to jazz everything up a little. My current favourite bag is the Tracey Flapover in Cognac Visetos - I am totally smitten with its vintage inspired shape and its versatility. I can wear it as a cross body bag, a hand bag and even as a clutch. As a day clutch it always makes quite an effect.
The outfit I am wearing in these photos is quite representative of my usual cold weather attire, so I thought it would be a good start to my Style Diary! I like how the visetos monogram and leopard coat clash and match at the same time (the key to pattern clashing is to pair two patterns in similar tones). My purple scarf goes everywhere with me, it brings a pop of colour in my usually neutral outfits... as for the studded shoes, they are here to remind everyone I am not always a good girl!

My favourite Parisian addresses:

Pavillon des Lettres - 12 rue des Saussaies Paris 8eme
Bonton - 5 Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire Paris 3eme
