Berlin is the capital and also the biggest city in Germany. It is located in northeastern Germany, in the center of the Berlin-Brandenburg Metropolitan area. The city has a tumultuous past, but it has now become one of the hippest cities in Europe. People come from all over to dance in Berlin's clubs, drink in its bars and walk around looking for artsy finds and vintage clothes.

The MCM Flagship store in Berlin is on Kurfurstendamm, one of the city's most famous avenues. It can be compared to the Champs Elysees in Paris. It is the perfect spot if you want to indulge in a bit of designer shopping, as all the big names are represented alongside MCM.

Finding taxis in Berlin couldn't be easier... Unless it is New Year's Eve! Most main streets and hotels offer a taxi rank, and taxi companies are regulated so there won't be any surprises on the fares. The best thing about Berlin taxis is that they are totally affordable, compared to most European cities. You can get from the city centre to Tegel for less than €20. Keep in mind that you probably won't need to use taxis much during your stay in Berlin though as public transport there is excellent.
