Sometimes I think Justin Bieber should join our Blogger Ambassador team, because he puts our love for MCM to shame. His collection of MCM backpacks is ever-expanding and it gets better: two weeks ago, he visited our HQ, MCM Haus in Seoul for a very special shopping spree. The Canadian pop prodigy received two highly customised, one-of-a-kind backpacks. One from the Stark range and the other one from the Armour Collection. We already knew Bieber was very keen on the Stark backpack, having seen him out and about multiple times with a Stark on his back, but the Armour collection is a new addition to his wardrobe. We couldn't be happier.
The Stark backpack he chose to have customised is from our SS13 collection. Adorned with assemblages of patterned studs, this bold-chic collection exudes personality, grandeur & flair. The handcrafted prodigy is embellished with symmetrical constellations of tough-luxe silhouettes and stud-laden landscapes, producing pyramidal spike-contours over leather. The bespoke customisation adds a very special touch to this Cognac Visetos Stark, with leather numbers spelling out Bieber's year of birth (1994).
The customised Armour backpack is from the lavish AW13 Collection. Designed with an exotic touch, the latest Armour Collection features MCM’s newly-debuted bronze edition, featuring a rainfall of shingly studs on a landscape of python Visetos materials, fused with MCM’s timeless monogram pattern for a superior aesthetic. Justin Bieber had the bag customised to add his initials. How chic!

The same week, footballer Neymar Da Silva also visited our Seoul Flagship to pick up some MCM goodies. Unlike Justin Bieber, he still has a lot of room to grow his MCM bag collection and so he started with some classics with a twist. The Honshu Tantris Weekender bag and the Special Edition Zurich backpack in Black & White. For a professional football player, this are pretty much wardrobe staples: the Weekender will be perfect for attending away games in style, while the Zurich backpack is a great everyday companion, where Naymar will be able to fit all his daily essentials.
