First Lady: Hair & Make-up Style Guide

Casual by day, tres chic by night: Ladies are not just this or that - they are diverse. Diverse and powerful, different yet authentic at the same time  - no matter whether they choose one style or the other.  Women try to express themselves much more than the guys, and like to vary their styles while loving to mix and match: new trends, new looks without losing their own attitude.

It's pretty exciting to see one girl vary her style again and again, interpreting her looks in new ways without losing her signature style.  We here at MCM love to see different style interpretations of our collection - and we're pretty proud of the unlimited possibilities to create your very own styles with our handbags!

For our "First Lady" Collection we present two different looks: Casual & Retro-Chic

Casual First Lady - The Hair Style:

She's casual, laid back and enjoys every moment in her life without being stressed. She loves nature and always feels comfortable. 

She doesn't need much make-up or an extravagant hair-style - she loves it to keep everything simple and au naturel!   Her hair looks pretty undone but of course, she does need a bit of time to create this laid-back, 'effortless' look.  to create this First Lady style, use a flat iron and a bit of gel . Extra tip: try a middle part- it looks more cool!

Casual First Lady - The Make-Up:

Her make-up is pretty simple as well: The fuchsia is such an eye-catcher that she doesn't need much more to create this "wow"-effect.  To complete this look, lacquer your nails with another bold colour like green, then use mascara with a bit of rouge - c'est ca!

Retro-Chic First Lady - The Hair Style:

Sometimes, this girl sometimes wants to style herself a bit extravagantly.  Fashionistas, the hat is not just the ultimate must-have this summer - it's also the best choice if you want to get a really stand-out look.  Get the 60s inspiration, grab you hat and create soft waves.

Retro-chic First Lady - The Make-Up:

Smokey-eyes and a super clean tint!  That's it. No lipstick and no other colour - the strong colour of your First Lady handbag will be absolutely enough for this look.  The deep black eye make-up will match the pink colour to perfection!

Of course, there are hundreds of style possibilities, but these two looks are my favourites!   I really love the differences between these casual and retro-chic looks - and they show how versatile this MCM-lovely is!
