Last week, we told you everything you needed to know about Munich's numerous museums - and we hope you enjoyed it. This time, we are looking at the city's best restaurants. Whether you are after something traditionally Bavarian or a more modern place, we have a place to recommend in our Munich mini-guide!
For traditional Bavarian food and experience, head over to Andechs Am Dom (Gaststattenbetriebs GmbH, Weinstraße 7a). Traditional wine vaults are a subtle allusion to the tavern's monastic past and the ceilings offer breathtaking paintings by Rainer Maria Latzke. The combination of the old and the new will blow you away.

Since Munich is MCM's birth place, you should celebrate the brand by taking the Wolken Visetos Small Shoulder bag with you to a Bavarian eatery. The MCM monogram has never been more in its place!
For those of you who are not sure if they want traditional or upscale, try Schumann's (Odeonsplatz 6+7) or Kafer (Prinzregentenstrasse)- both of those places have a true upmarket feel while remaining faithful to the city's traditions. Perfect to go on an evening date.

To go there, take with you the Visetos Basic Air Boston Mini - it is both elegant and dainty, the perfect evening bag for relaxed dinner dates!
Finally, for the hip crowd, there is always Schnelle Liebe (Thalkirchnerstrasse 12). It offers a more diverse selection of dishes and the menu is very much multicultural (mostly European and American). There is a real youthful feel in that place.

There is only one bag for that type of place and it is the Phenomenon Goldline Backpack - with its striking leopard print and gold plaques, it is bound to make you the trendiest person in an already trendy place! It will also follow you seamlessly from day to night as it is both very casual and quite "night time cool".
