Earlier this month, I introduced you to the bloggers involved in this year's "makeover" project... Then you found out all about me and my partner in crime Monsieur Robot... It is now time for me to introduce the next blogger, the beautiful and immensely witty Emily Johnston from Fashion Foie Gras.
Fashion Foie Gras was founded in September 2009 with the idea of creating one place where all things newsworthy for fashion and style are reported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! The site has been featured on a number of different websites, written about in several print publications and received recognition in numerous "top fashion blogs" roundups. Emily Johnston, the editor, contributes to a number of publications beyond FFG including Cosmopolitan, The Huffington Post, Glamour Magazine UK and Stylist Magazine.
I met Emily a couple years ago and we've been friends ever since. She is one of the funniest, wittiest people I know and she is also incredibly passionate about what she does. She is one of those people who can do anything she sets her mind to... As you will see in the photographs from our shoot, she is also insanely beautiful AND photogenic.
A Touch Of Pink
As a professional blogger, Emily travels all over the world on a weekly basis and she needs a collection of luggage that is worthy of a fashion queen...
"I first saw MCM in Sex & The City. Samantha seemed to be a huge fan! So my interest was peaked."
Modern vs Vintage Glam
When you are always on the go, you better come prepared. Emily picked some of our classic luggage line and gave it an interesting twist, by contrasting her sleek modern silhouette with vintage glam Visetos trunks.
"Sadly, I'll never be a small bag carrier. I have a real problem. Haha! I carry a whole Apple store on a daily basis - macbook, IPhone, iPad and iPod. Then there's the notebook, pens, makeup bag and of course crazy stuff like flats and a snack bar in case I find myself in an unexpected situation where flats and snacks are required."
I've given you many reasons why I love Emily, but I think what seals the deal is that she loves animals as much as I do. She grew up in the beautiful South and raised many wonderful dogs. I think our MCM dogs would have been quite happy to go home with her!
"I loved the MCM Blogger Makeover! It was so much fun working with the team and getting to participate in a set where the bags are all on show."
Thank you Emily!
