The London Special Edition Backpacks Just Arrived!

London has a very special place in my heart, and it also hold a very special place for MCM. After celebrating all things sports and the London Olympics this Summer with the B.I.G. backpack and of course the MCM Routemaster, the spotlight is once again shining over London. The Special Edition backpacks are absolutely to-die-for gorgeous and are only available in our London flagship store. I can tell you that if I didn't live here, I would definitely consider the trip just to get my hands on one of those bad boys. Seriously, they are stunning. When I first saw the photos, my jaw dropped to the floor - literally - and I am normally quite picky when it comes to bags, as I am sure you know by now.

There are two Special Edition Backpacks in different, yet similar styles. Both are studded, one is black, one is cognac and patent black. I think they embody perfectly two different sides of London. Edgy, cool and rebellious on one side and fashion forward, chic and eccentric on the other.

The black Special Edition backpack has the raw energy of a punk band, with spikes covering the soft monogrammed leather. It would be perfect for a night out in Dalston, worn with denim shorts, chunky lace up boots, a biker jacket and plenty of attitude. 

The cognac Special Edition backpack plays on texture, with snakeskin, cognac leather, black patent leather and studs of various sizes. This is a bag to take to Sketch and to a fashion party, worn with a pencil skirt, sky high heels, a blouse and a pea coat.
