In commemoration of MCM’s grand debut, a bevy well-to-do international A-listers, fashionistas & glamorous glitterati joined the jet-set and celebrated the excitement. These distinguished style-savants included the likes of Korean-American actor, Daniel Henney, Hong Kong actor & singer Shawn Yue, Triple-threat Hong Kong singer, dancer & actor Ron Ng and Korean-American rock band, the Royal Pirates to name a few.
Other taste-makers included the likes of the internationally-acclaimed Thai sensation, Bie KPN. Sporting an exclusive custom-made sleeveless MCM Biker Jacket and a pair of iconic Cognac Visetos Sneakers, the electro-pop legend kicked off MCM’s closing catwalk at Singapore Men’s Fashion Week in an unforgettably powerful ‘curtain call’ performance:
Opening the catwalk was South Korea’s illustrious Sung Hoon, prominent for his diverse acting portfolio. Flaunting a total of five different looks, the guest-star model commenced touting a caramel-hued Cognac Visetos Heritage Luggage with a matching laptop case, sporting an all-white dignified attire. His second look features a matching backpack and luggage set from our characteristic Vasco Collection, sporting a satirically retro-chic look. His third ensemble takes an unexpected twist, featuring a bold and brassy black leather jumper with a tiger-print interior & matching shirt from our notorious Phenomenon Collection, fitted with a custom-made M Moment Limited Edition Weekender. The next look features a similar tough-lux aesthetic boasting maximalist style, with another custom-made standout piece from our M Moment Collection, generously adorned with stalagmite-esque studs atop shimmering black leather, embellished with muted hardwares. Sung Hoon’s final look synchronises with MCM’s grand finale concept which features characteristic exclusive custom-made backpacks in a shirtless model display to highlight the unique custom designs:
Following Bie KPN & Seung Hoon in a breathtaking, seat-gripping intermission, Korea’s renowned “Dancing Taeguk Warriors”, infamously known as the b-boy group Last for One, lit the stage on fire in a spectacular performance featuring gravity-defying acrobatics. Rocking MCM’s latest fire-emblazoned Phenomenon collection, the troupe flaunted their signature precision dance moves and stunts while the models prepared for the grand finale:
The international men’s fashion event is the 3rd in the world as well as the 1st in Asia, making Singapore the 3rd international menswear fashion capital to date. Closing on a high note, MCM’s finale was a sensationally unforgettable hit!
