By now, you are no strangers to Matthew Zorpas' style, I am sure. I am also pretty sure his "classic Hollywood with a twist" attire is promptly making him an ubiquitous presence on your moodboards. In case you aren't overly familiar with Matthew's polished style, you can read this interview of him I conducted a few weeks ago and also have a look at some of the ways he styled his MCM bags (Stark backpack and Cognac Visetos Portfolio).
Recently, Matthew was in New York and met up with photographer Louge Delcy from Dapper Lou who was working on a project for luxury jewellery brand Van Cleef & Arpels. Blessed with good looks and an inimitable sense of style, Matthew makes the perfect model for these shoots, featuring a Pierre Arpels timepiece and of course the one and only Cognac Visetos Portfolio.
The Cognac Visetos Portfolio
Here is the history of the Pierre Arpels watch "Pierre Arpels joined Van Cleef & Arpels at the end of World War II. In 1949, he contributed uniquely to the history of the Maison, when - in total secrecy - he designed a watch of rare quality and timeless beauty for himself. He had wanted to create “an exceptional piece” and he bestowed it with his own name: the Pierre Arpels."

I like Matthew's choice of a smart, classic navy suit with more casual black shoes. The only flashes of colour in the outfit being his tie and the MCM Cognac Visetos portfolio. This is such a versatile outfit that would fit just as well for giving a lecture, working in an office or simply heading to a chic dinner party. I think his is a great way of showing that luxury items can be worn everyday.
