Yesterday as I was talking with my daughter, the conversation turned to Mary Poppins, as it often does with a 5 year old who just discovered this wonderful film. These days, everything she does is done to "help the medicine go down", whether it is actually a spoonful of sugar or just putting her pyjamas on. It creates some pretty surreal scenes in the house, but as you saw this week, thanks to Brak, there is no shortage of those under my roof.
To cut a long story short, after she went to bed, I sat there thinking about Mary Poppins bag. This magical accessory that fits everything from her daily essentials to an elephant, a picnic table and anything you could imagine. Now on the eve of a month of travel, I am getting pretty envious of that bottom less bag. So in my daydreams, the ones where I own a secret underground laboratory, I cast a spell on my MCM suitcase and it became the luggage equivalent of Mary Poppins's bag. A very handy invention if I may say so myself.
Today, as well as regaling you with images of our beautiful MCM luggage (vintage and new), I will also try to make a list of what I would put in my magic case. Don't judge me but it would mostly be pets.

In my MCM Briefcase (pictured here with Michalsky x MCM trainers and Assouline books) I would carry...

... lots of hamsters!

In my MCM Visetos Trolleys I would carry...

... the entire contents of my wardrobe.

I am obviously not a very practical packer, even given infinite space in a magical suitcase... But I am sure bringing lots of hamsters and other cute animals on holidays would improve my time by at least 10,000. After all, I only need minimal amounts of clothing to fight the heat!
What would you put in your magic suitcase?
xoxo Love from Mademoiselle Robot
