Music is my big love - okay, to be honest, maybe it's my most important passion next to everything concerning to fashion. But without arts the world would be quite boring, without music all these subcultures people discovered through the decades ( and now still do) wouldn't ever have come to be. Still in these days music influences fashion again and again. But that's not the only fact that should make us keep our eyes open if it comes to talented musicians and upcoming starlets - most of all music is somethings that extends our horizons and sets our hearts on fire. For MCM music was even one of the inspiring ingredients that transpired to become part of its brand territories - for good reason:
Indeed, if the world seems more cloudy than a dark day in autumn times, one single concert is able to save our soul through this amazing sound power. Maybe that's why I won't ever stop spending money for music and going out to see a live gig, even if I'm tired though. Berlin I guess, is one of the best cities to live in as a music freak.
Now I'm ready to see and hear one of my favourite female singers live on stage in Berlin: Florence Welch from "florence and the machine". This woman is just crazy about fashion and always looks more than amazing - with a very individual twist. And: A MCM lover and friend, too. (She was wearing MCM at the Sundance Festival!)
To be well prepared, I choose to wear a simple outfit today, nearly all black in black, that has a comfortable fit that allows me to jump around but some special details at the same time to show everyone, that I care about what I'm wearing. Not in the "Look-What-I-Got-Attitude" but in the Berlin "I-Love-My-Things-Way": If you keep it understatement-like, an eye catcher always helps to make you feel comfortable. For me it's my beloved MCM Veronika Line Leather Bag. It's a big one, of course, because I have to carry all my stuff with me like my papers and pen and a huge camera to capture these music-moments forever - the best choice ever I guess, because it's cool, straight, but stunning. Just perfect to pimp my straight lined asymmetrical outfit and turn it into a visual combination of two worlds: Rough music and lovely fashion.
Yes, the Veronika Line Bags turn out to be my favourite must-have items this season. Decent, but extraordinary beautiful and full of luxury. The best thing about it next to all it's space, is that you can wear it as a hand bag in the evening and even as a cross-body bag, wich is very important if you are a concert-lover that likes to dance to the music. Another advantage of this bag: It my pink lipstick's best friend!
I hope you'll enjoy your next concert - maybe Florence and the machine, too? Do you like it?
