Eccentric singer-songwriter Paloma Faith was recently featured in the Mail Online enjoying a romantic stroll with her beloved MCM Cognac Visetos Drawstring Backpack (and her rather handsome boyfriend).

Paloma Faith released her debut album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? in 2009, and it was certified double Platinum in the United Kingdom. The album spawned five singles, of which the first two were UK Top 20 hits: "Stone Cold Sober", "New York", title track "Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?", "Upside Down" and "Smoke & Mirrors". In 2011, Faith was nominated for "British Female Solo Artist" at the BRIT Awards. Faith made her feature film debut in the 2007 remake St Trinian's, she has since appeared in two further feature films, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus and Dread. The singer is often celebrated for her quirky, typically British sense of style and her great personality.
Here, at MCM, we love Paloma Faith and she seems to love us right back... Her main MCM crush? The Cognac Visetos Drawstring backpack that goes everywhere with her... As we found out, she even takes it on dates! Pretty cool, isn't it?
Our Very MCM friend the Very Simon G also featured her recently, wearing a monochrome dress and her beloved backpack.
Paloma's love for MCM isn't news to us, as she visited our London Sloane street Flagship last year, when she acquired the backpack. She charmed the socks off the whole of the boutique staff and left with a smile and a brand new companion. She now features in the celebrity gallery of our brand new M. Magazine Backpack microsite (which you should definitely visit if you haven't done so already).
Find Paloma's bag!
Last but not least, let's have a look at Paloma's bag of choice: the lovely Cognac Visetos Drawstring Backpack. I can see why it appeals to her with its retro look. It looks like a vintage bag (well of course, it is part of our Heritage line which is directly inspired by our archive collections) but has all the attributes of a contemporary bag: practical, versatile and very robust. It goes wonderfully with Paloma's vintage style, both blending in and adding a touch of modernity.
But enough talking, let's listen to Paloma's divine voice!
