In May, we celebrated MCM's Grand Opening in beautiful Zurich with some amazing VIPs, our extraordinary Chairperson & Chief Visionary Officer, Ms. Sungjoo Kim and celebrities such as Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, Fiona Hefti, Steffi Buchli, Fabienne Louves & Sandra Bauknecht. Last Friday, Nike and I had the chance to visit the beautiful Swiss city for the second time as we were working on a top secret project that we will reveal in a few days!
One place you may not want to miss while visiting Zurich is the wonderful MCM Flagship Boutique, located at Munsterhof 13 - in the center of the historical town between the shopping area and Zurich's most amazing sight: The Zurichsee!
The MCM Flagship is the best place to begin your Zurich trip - lovely and in the middle of the city; from there, you can explore the whole town! But first, 160 square meters full of MCM love are waiting for you! I'm quite sure you'll love it as much as we do and you will probably find another extraordinary favourite there. A little hint: a few limited Swiss edition bags are still available...
Designed as an enhancement of MCM’s distinctive aesthetic, the latest Flagship features a harmony of craftsmanship and modernity. The boutique showcases our majestic new interior concept featuring a uniquely conceived golden facade, boasting a decadent never-before-seen motif.
The newly fashioned interior design allows for sweeping views throughout the exhibition panels, offering a variety of spatial experiences which afford a unique character to each of the different product ranges on display.
So after your long visit at MCM, don't forget to discover the following destinations:
Churches: Grossmunster and St. Peters
From anywhere in the city, you can't miss the 13th-century tower of St Peterskirche. Its prominent clock face, 8.7m in diameter, is the largest in Europe. Inside, the choir stalls date from the 13th century but the bulk of the rest of the church is an 18th-century remake.
Sightseeing & Shopping:
Next to our MCM flagship boutique you will cross the famous Bahnhofstrasse - the shopping destination dreams are made of: 1.4 kilometres long!
Sit down for cake, hot chocolate and coffee at this epicentre of sweet Switzerland, in business since 1836. You can have a light lunch too, but whatever you do, don’t fail to check out the heavenly chocolate shop around the corner on Paradeplatz.
A Zuri-West stalwart, Josef frequently changes it decor and Swiss-Italian menu, but always has a good wine list and remains constantly popular with the hip crowd, even if just for a drink.
Oh, I hope you gonna enjoy Zurich as much as we did <3
LOVE, the Janes
