The First Lady - Techno Chic

The First Lady - Techno Chic 05-03-2013: The First Lady is the star of the moment, and so today I would like to share with you the lovely Pink Edition. It is so fresh and so girlie, but above all it is one of the most practical bags ever. It is very roomy, has a million different pockets and compartments which means you can carry your whole technological paraphernalia with you while remaining the most stylish lady in the room. Win/win.

Today, I will be looking at three different lifestyles and see what they carry in their very own First Lady Pink Edition...

The Design Maven

The Design Maven lives for prints, patterns and strong lines. She can spend hours pouring over record covers designed by Peter Saville and is always experimenting with colours and prints. Her life is spent on the go, freelancing for different clients and she needs to carry a lot of equipment in her First Lady Pink Edition.

The most important piece of equipment for our Graphic Design maven is of course her laptop, she cannot live without a MacBook Pro by her side. She also carries her graphic tablet around as well as an external hard drive, to make sure her work is always backed up. On her iPad, she keeps a copy of her portfolio to show her clients during meetings and pitches.

The Ivy League Princess

Running around campus is a tiring life, but our Ivy League Princess is dedicated to her studies. She has goals that need to be fulfilled and she knows she won't achieve anything without making any effort. She spends most of her time at the library, but it doesn't mean she forgets about personal style. Taking a few pages from Blair Waldorf's little book of style, she is always impeccably attired and carries her First Lady Pink Edition wherever she goes.

The Ivy League Princess needs a lot of gadgets to take her through the school year. A laptop is of course a must have to write her essays, but she also carries with her a collection of USB keys where she saves the notes she takes during lectures, her phone to stay in touch with her friends, a kindle loaded with all her course books and of course a lovely watch to make sure she is always on time.

The Professional Fashion Blogger

As a Fashion Blogger, there is no end to the amount of gadgets you have to carry every day. Your life is your content and so you have to be ready for anything, all the time. Often, this means you end up carrying a very heavy bag, but thanks to the First Lady Pink Edition, you can go around in style.

The Fashion Blogger always carries a light laptop (such as the MacBook Air) to be able to write on the go. She also of course takes her DSLR camera everywhere, for impromptu outfit shoots or simply to document her daily habits. On her phone, she keeps track of all the events and invitations. She also carries an iPad Mini as a back up and she is always laden with USB sticks containing press materials.
