SS13 Campaign Behind-the-Scenes: Interview with Del Fin, Manicurist

We are so proud of our new SS13 campaign, "Very MCM in Monaco" (read about it here), starring supermodels Hana Jirickova and Robertas Aukstuolis that we wanted to share with you a few snippets of what happens behind the scenes during our campaign shoot. So I snuck around like a mouse and had little chats with various members of our elite team of fashion experts. 

First up is our Manicurist, or should I say nail magician Del Fin. When I chatted with her, she explained that for the shoot, she wanted "something natural and chic, in the nude palette". She also told us that she tried a few colours before settling on the one that made it into the campaign: "the first one we tried was a little too brown in the daylight so we picked a different shade that looked more natural".

As a former nail biter having kicked this nasty, nasty habit, I can definitely vouch for a well rounded, natural looking nail. Although a classic red is lovely, there is nothing quite as elegant as a well groomed, natural nail. Especially while sailing in Monaco in the Summer. I find that the manicure is particularly well suited to the choice of outfits and bags: timeless and understated.

... and finally, Del Fin - who is decidedly a woman of taste, us French women often are - tells us she saw all the new MCM bags and loves them! How could she not, I wonder!
