One year with MCM & Nike Jane

Dear readers, followers and friends!

It's been one year now, one year of amazing team work, glamorous events, crazy photo shoots and blogger meetings, a year full of fashion weeks, endless working nights and... you! 

For 365 days MCM has accompanied me, in any possible way. When I leave the house, I pack my MCM bag. When I go to work, my laptop and camera are safe in my MCM bag. If there's an event in the evening, I carry my MCM bag, if I have to travel the world, there's my MCM backpack waiting for me. It doesn't matter if I'm dressing up or down - you know that sometimes my outfits are, well, as casual as can be, but that's the point: MCM always is the perfect match. 

I was asked to become the German Blogger Ambassador with Sarah-Jane, at first I was quite sceptical if I fit with that project - as I'm aware of the fact that my style isn't really a "proofed style", but and expression of myself, it's just me. Everyone knows that some days you can feel like a lady, but then you go back to teenage memories or daydreamer-moods - that's what I am presenting to you, always, from the beginning till now.  That's what makes MCM special, that's what it's about. MCM doesn't think in prototypes, MCM is inspired by music, the arts, travels, life.  MCM respects individuality. I don't pretend to be lover of this brand, guys. I seriously am. 

To be honest I haven't ever been a huge fan of labelling and all these decadent logo-pieces because I never wanted to act as a testimonial for fashion labels I am not totally down with.  I didn't want the world to see what I am carrying, especially if it comes to quite expensive pieces.  But hey, here I am.  Because I am proud to be a member of this lovely MCM family. Because MCM bags, for me, are worth it. Worth to invest in, worth to somehow fall in love with. It's a sweet luxury, I know. But probably we should just accept that our hearts are able to beat for that stylish nick-nack here and there. This is ok - as long as we always care about the really important things in life.
