Brand Experience Routemaster: The Wish Magazine 1st Edition Picnic Celebration

On a sunny August day, Carrie (Wish Wish Wish), Lucy (Shiny Thoughts) - two of London's most popular bloggers - and the rest of the Wish Magazine team boarded the MCM Routemaster for a celebratory picnic of their first issue in a London park. The British weather being what it is, the sunshine was soon replaced by a torrential downpour and they had to improvise a picnic on board!
Carrie from Wish Wish Wish was one of the lovely bloggers involved in our SS12 Blogger Makeover and she has since been a friend of MCM, so it was truly great to be able to support her magazine in that way and help her celebrate the success of Wish Magazine's first issue.

The MCM Routemaster has seen some truly great and interesting things this Summer, but it was the first time a picnic was organised on the top deck! It was very much in keeping with the original spirit of Wish, a magazine put together by best friends Carrie and Lucy to cater for girls like them who are a little bored with the same old editorials seen in fashion magazines. They wanted to create something girls in their twenties could relate to, with affordable clothes featured in editorials, models who look like us and articles about topics that matter to their audience.

We were more than happy to support the girls initiative and so we invited them to use the bus for the day - little did we know it would turn into a Noah's Ark of sorts, saving style bloggers from the monsoon! Carrie and Lucy, we love what you've done with the place!
