And do you remember our collaboration with contemporary artist Craig Redman? Our luxury brand and the creative mind created The SHANGHAI COLLECTION that featured the history of our beloved brand with a modern look of Redman's perfect use: colour and traditional elements - There are three different rope designs available: candy colours, red & white for the ladies and a more masculine one using shades of grey. The collection counts 17 pieces in total, including three bags especially for men. The outstanding patterns showed ropes that are significant for the harbor of Shanghai. 

But back to the city: Shanghai is a popular tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks such as The Bund, City God Temple and Yuyuan Garden, as well as the extensive and growing Pudong skyline. An illustrious Shanghai Three on the Bund Flagship Boutique was designed to take the current MCM store concept and enhance it to an experience. It's a totally different shop concept beside the typical black and white interior: Furnished with opulent furs, deluxe chandeliers, ornate fittings & lavish decor - the Shanghai Flagship boasts simplicity, refinery, sophistication & most of all, outstanding taste. The perfect guide, an artistic city map emblemised on the floor, artistically fuses fashion capitals around the world - adorning the Boutique’s aesthetic with a quirky playfulness, likewise paying homage to MCM’s celebrated globalism. The wave-like curtains of MCM’s iconic brassplates were designed to invite visitors to enter into a space where their imaginations can wander and be escorted to discover MCM’s beautiful pieces. 

Our beautiful Boutique is located at the illustrious Bund, or more specifically: in the Three on the Bund. An ornate building designed in Free Renaissance style by world-renowned architect Michael Graves into a refined celebration of contemporary Chinese lifestyle. 

Next to MCM you'll find the best in dining places, cultural events, spa treatments, and the best boutique shopping selection.

It is home to four award-winning restaurants, Space by Three private events venue and the Evian Spa by Three on the second floor, the Shanghai Gallery of Art and its Gallery Shop on the third floor. And where is our luxury leather goods brand MCM? On the first Floor, of course!
