An Investment To Treasure 31-01-2012: One of my most treasured possessions is an MCM bag customized by US streetwear brand Married to the Mob. This black and white tote was a limited edition sold exclusively in Paris fashion emporium Colette back in 2007 ? and only ten of these coveted bags were available.

The bag features the words MOB and MCM on each side in oversized graphics, and a Married to the Mob signature red lip charm hangs from the handle. Images of the Munich Lion ? one of MCM’s heritage symbols ? are stamped on the zipper.

I often carry it when I want to make an impression, and I love to see people’s reactions. It certainly catches the eye - so much so that complete strangers have come up to me offering to buy it there and then. But of course I won’t part with it!

That’s the beauty of our investment pieces. You can wear them year in, year out, always guaranteeing to look fabulous.
