Last month I treated myself a 2.5 week holiday to Hong Kong visiting friends, relatives, and promoting my book Adorn to media folks. The weather in Hong Kong was ultra hot (highest at 30'c) and very annoyingly humid (85% humidity), unlike the British weather we're not used to the heat and the urge to shower every 3 hours. Otherwise, I really enjoyed spending my time there and being blogging-free for the whole time was like an escape, I'm so looking forward to going back in late August and December. Here's the Instagram roundup:
Top Left: MCM overload with Cognac Visetos Travel Trolley, a matching travel document holder, and the Funky Zebra backpack to carry all my necessary essentials.
Top Middle: Cathy Pacific is one of my all time favourite airlines, I had the most comfortable and pleasant flight (on economy class) I ever been on on long haul flight to Hong Kong.
Top Right: Yes, Hong Kong is known for being the most compact and densely packed city in the world.
Bottom Left: Dim Sum luncheon with friends.
Bottom Middle: The Lee clan shrine, my paternal line dates back to the Tang Dynasty and descended from the infamous Emperor, Li Shimin.
Bottom Right: Tram spotting from The Landmark.
As I have mentioned in the previous blog entry, I flew to Seoul to visit my brother Ken (and blogger of Seoul State of Mind) who is currently based there for work. Check out my last set of Instagram roundup from Seoul.
Top Left: Another MCM overload at Incheon Airport.
Top Middle: View from JW Marriott hotel overlooking the East Gate in Dongdaemun.
