The World Cup is almost over, but I don't think the soccer craze is going anywhere... Which is why we thought we would partner up with our friends from Luisa Via Roma in a charity auction to #MAKEKIDSHAPPY. MCM along with other international designers have partnered up with artists to create a one-of-a-kind Brazuca / unique work of art and help Make Kids Happy.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Gol de Letra Foundation, whose mission is to improve living conditions for children in the Brazilian favelas through Art, Culture, Education and Sports. Because once the spotlight stops shining on Brazil, you can still help out - we definitely want to help.
Our soccer ball was created in collaboration with graphic designer Esther Lee. The ADIDAS BRAZUCA is incased in colorful knitting symbolizing Brazil, the games and above all the warmth and love for the children of this project.
Esther Lee is a Seoul-based graphic designer whose colourful work has earned her a lot of attention worldwide. Our football fever is definitely not going anywhere - see how we've been celebrating mobility and the arts this month...
