Europe is a wonderful place. You can leave London on a rather bleak Saturday morning, hop on a plane for 2.5 hours and arrive somewhere bright, sunny and warm. My destination this weekend was The Oitavos hotel near Cascais, a seaside town located only a few miles from Lisbon (about 30mn drive).
I spent my time there in between the spa, pool, beach, beautiful little towns and perfect restaurants. What more can a girl ask for? Of course, I couldn't go there without snapping a million photos to show you! Don't worry, I came prepared and my luggage was bursting with MCM bags - yes I have become that person. I will soon write about how to pack as many MCM bags as possible when you travel, by the way.

One of my travel companions for this trip: the First Lady Mini Satchel. It is one of my all-time favourite MCM bags. I wore it everyday. It goes with absolutely everything and looks perfect whether it is relaxing poolside or at a fancy cocktail party in the evening. The ideal travel bag, basically.
I travel a lot, so I have a few go-to outfits I like to fly in. I want to be comfortable, but stay chic, especially when I travel for work. A simple white shirt, fitted jeans and loafers are my items of choice. I also like to carry one of my MCM shoppers with me to carry travel essentials. This time I took my colour block Shopper Project bag with me.

Whoops... It would appear I brought enough bags for 2 weeks... You will recognise my SS13 Craig & Karl pouch. I use it to carry my laptop and it doubles up as an evening clutch. Fancy!
Fresh drinks by the pool, while listening to the first of the Oitavos Beat concerts.
These two look like they were made for each other, don't you think?
Finally, I just had to share this beautiful assortment of pastries! Continental breakfast never looked so appealing!
