Blogger Makeover season is upon us! We shot in Chelsea last week and it was a really fun day spent in and out of MCM's London flagship boutique which we used as a base. If you want to find out more about what happened behind the scenes, have a look at my post from last week...
To get you started with the makeover series, I thought I would share my own photos and a little interview from the day. The MCM items I picked were: Flower Boys in Paradise Biker Jacket, Blume Cross-Body Bag and my co-star was the big pink Visetos Bunny, because who else, right?
Please introduce yourself
I won't bore you too much with this as you've known me for a while now if you are a regular reader of this blog, but in short, I am a 30-something Parisian living in London. I work as a creative consultant, photographer and stylist, as well of course as writing my blog MademoiselleRobot.com daily! I've been an MCM Ambassador for 4 years now and I am also the Editor of the MCM Blog - which is something I am very proud of.
Describe your personal style
My style is very simple, it is actually getting more and more simple, sometimes to a point where I find it exhaustingly boring and I have to add something a little more fun to my outfit of the day! I am from Paris, living in London and in love with California and Scandinavia so I take a little from everything and mix it up. The result is casual-chic, fairly plain but always with a twist! I am also not particularly girly.
Style inspiration (for the shoot & general)
For the shoot, I wanted to stay true to myself and show the MCM readers (and mine) what I wear on a daily basis. I try not to over-style myself when I show my outfits because I find it more interesting to see people's sartorial truth. When I read blogs, this is what I look for, because to me this is what will be inspiring and something I can strive to emulate. If I want to see overly complicated outfits, I will turn to magazine editorials. In life, my style inspiration lies everywhere, I wrote a post just yesterday about this and how I was sometimes inspired by the silliest things. Go ahead and read it!
That biker jacket - I can't stop thinking about it!
Favourite moment of the blogger makeover
When Holly (our photographer) and I decided to climb up on a roof to "get the shot". Twelve floors later we were in hysterics, but also so happy because we knew we had found the perfect spot (as seen in the first shot).
What is your favourite combination of MCM products? What does it reveal about your personality/style?
I like to carry one MCM item at a time because I want the spotlight to be on just one thing. I suppose it goes with a fairly simple style. I can't really carry too many statement pieces at once!

Which MCM product(s) best describes your personality?
You know, I really love my Knighthood backpack, it is totally plain, but made out of the most beautiful leather and it has these tiny stud embellishments on the side. I guess it is a good one for me as I think I am definitely someone you need to get to know very well to properly appreciate.
Which stuffed MCM animal would you bring to bed?
The Visetos panda!! ALL OF THEM!!! Is this too greedy?
