What a week! If you've been reading the blog, or following our updates on Twitter and Instagram, you will know that last Friday we opened Singapore Fashion Week with our SS14 Flower Boys in Paradise collection AND also celebrated the grand opening of our new ultra luxurious Singapore boutique. We have so many MCM fans and friends in Singapore, we know you had been waiting for this moment for a long time - and believe us we were the same. It was about finding the right place, the right space and then finding the time to make it totally perfect.
Of course, there is no great party or show without equally great guests, which is why we invited 150 International and Local Media influencers as well as 600 guests including business partners, socialites, VIPs and some of our favourite celebrity fans such as Rain, Sunghoon and Shin Woo as well as our special guest DJ JinWook.
Let's meet these gentlemen now... A word of warning: they are all incredibly handsome and may cause your heart to beat faster. On the plus side, if you are currently suffer from a broken heart, looking at the photos below will no doubt heal it straight away.
DJ JinWook playing his best tunes at the MCM show
First up is DJ JinWook... Ever wonder why he looks so dreamy? Well that would be because he had a successul career as a fashion model before he became interested in the electronic music scene. He quit working as a model in 1998 and started DJing for fun (just like I did - we are so made for each other). Because of his impeccable taste in music and dashing good looks, he quickly started playing in clubs such as Matmata, M2, W Hotel Seoul and was noticed by big name DJs who let him be their warm-up act. As such, he opened for Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Derrick Carter, Dimitri From Paris and also provided the soundtrack to many fashion parties around the globe. You know what though? Rather than write anymore about DJ JinWook, I will ask you to press play on the widget below and have a look at his photos while listening to his mix.
DJ JinWook deep in the mix
If you were at our show, head bopping along to DJ JinWook's mix, you may have noticed a few more handsome gentlemen... Scanning the front row, it was impossible not to notice Asia's biggest pop icon, Jung Ji-Hoon aka Rain, patiently waiting for the show to begin. He also attended our store opening in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Rain is one of our best and oldest friends and he has been an avid fan of MCM for a long time, often seen wearing his Stark backpack. Jung Ji-Hoon is an actor, model, a producer and designer. His musical career includes seven albums, 19 singles and numerous international tours. He began acting in 2003 and won the KBS Best New Actor Award for his role in the drama "Sang Doo! Let's Go To School". After starring in "A Love To Kill" he acted in his first Korean film, "I'm a cyborg, but that's ok", which won the Alfred Bauer Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival. His latest movie was released in 2012: "R2B: Return to Base".

So... So far we have: dreamy DJ JinWook spinning some tunes, triple-threat megastar Rain sitting in the front row... Time to start the show which was also filled with gorgeous men, including singer / actor Sung Hoon and supermodel / actor Shin Woo. I am not sure what to add anymore, I am definitely blushing as I write this! First let's talk about Sung Hoon: the 30 year old singer and actor who kindly took to the runway for us - and looked every bit the supermodel while doing so. His real name is Bang Sung Hoon and he started his acting career in 2011 when he got a role on SBS' "New Tales of Gisaeng" for which he won the New Star Award the same year. After that, his career went from strength to strength with roles in three other SBS shows and another one on CCTV.
Last but definitely NOT least is Shin Woo, Korea's number one male supermodel, currently signed by world famous agency Elite Model Management. His career really took off in 2009 when he won the Men's Health "Cool Guys" competition. As you can see, his body is a true work of art, something a Greek god might get jealous of. Shin Woo is also extremely tall - he measures 1m89, which is probably why all the clothes look so good on him. To cut a long story short, if I wasn't already married, I would happily become Mrs. Shin Woo.
