After three days of Luisa Via Roma's Firenze4Ever-awesomeness Nike-Jane & I are sad that time flew so quickly since we had such a fabulous time! Picture this: 3 days of amazing people, 3 days of beautiful Florence (really, this city is unbelievably gorgeous) and 3 days of MCM with tomorrow's up-and-coming trends. It's been such an incredible experience we'd never dreamt of.
This season's theme for the Firenze4Ever was “On Stage - Where art, music & fashion meet between the virtual and the physical". Inspired by Punk-Rock aesthetics, the event celebrated the upcoming trend in with a big boom.
Let's start with our personal travel diary and jump off the plane and explore Luisa Via Roma's stylish store and see some lovely fashionistas from all over the globe!
From Berlin to Zurich to Florence: 5 hours with one stop - our trip started pretty early so we arrived midday at our beautiful hotel. It was the perfect start in entering this luxurious world and slowly getting into the Florentine way of life, as well as getting to know the other bloggers involved later on in order to dive into this amazing experience.
After our first break at a typical gelateria, all the bloggers met at the Luisa Via Roma store for pre-dinner cocktails and a gentle get-together before heading to Villa Le Corti in San Casciano for a Gargantuan dinner.
As you can imagine, the Tuscany is pleasing-to-the-eye for every nature lover and pleasing-to-the-tummy by the evening: finger foods, champagne, typical Italian and Florentine cuisine such as breads, cakes, pasta, meats and panacotta - four courses of awesomeness!
Sunday started pretty early and it was about time for Luisa Via Roma's first Style Labs in the boutique - like mine (but I'll come to that later). Even though everybody wanted to grab the most amazing items from LVR's Auntumn / Winter collections as well as their upcoming accessories, the atmosphere was pretty nice & relaxed.
As you can see: It was all about shootings, shootings, shootings! Dinner was as amazing as the evening prior: we wined & dined at the Grand Museum and had an amazing night at the Galleria Del Costume inside Palazzo Pitti.
On Monday we met the MCM crew! We're a big family but we catch up pretty rarely so it was so nice to see all the guys again and talk about the new "Craig & Karl" collection, about their impressions and about the lovely event.
Monday's highlight took place in the evening where we were invited to the most fashionable party I've attended to date: It took place at the Giardini di Boboli, a beautiful park with an awesome dinner: round tables were placed around a pond with a big dramatic statue in the centre. We we were treated like princesses! The grand finale? A live performance from top bands Francis and the Cats, The Goose, and Prins Thomas. Unforgettable? That would be the understatement of the season!
What a night! What a feast! What an incredible experience. Thank you so much Luisa Via Roma - it has been a pleasure to be one of the 30 invited bloggers <3 LOVE, Sarah Jane
